What this policy covers
This policy explains how P.S. handles information when you use ps.app, the P.S. mobile apps, and related card, account, ordering, support, and event services. It does not cover websites or services that we do not control.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use P.S., we may collect:
- Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, phone number, login details, and communications with us.
- People and reminder information, such as names, birthdays, mailing addresses, relationship notes, and other contact details you choose to save or import.
- Event and questionnaire information, such as ticket details, preferences, survey responses, and other information you choose to provide for a P.S. event or event feature.
- Card content, including photos, prompts, recipient details, names, written messages, signatures, design choices, and finished card artwork.
- Order and delivery information, such as recipient names, mailing addresses, delivery choices, order history, and tracking information.
- Payment and membership information. Payment providers process payment credentials. P.S. receives transaction, subscription, credit, and billing status information needed to complete and support a purchase.
- Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser or device details, pages viewed, features used, referring links, campaign attribution, and cookie or pixel identifiers.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Create, personalize, save, print, mail, and track cards you request.
- Operate accounts, purchases, memberships, card credits, and customer support.
- Provide reminders, event features, and other services you choose to use.
- Maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, and activity that could harm P.S. or other people.
- Understand site performance and measure marketing, where permitted.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Photos and card content
When you upload a photo or submit card instructions, that content may be sent to specialized image and text processing providers so we can create the previews and personalized artwork you request. Finished artwork and card content may also be stored to support drafts, purchases, printing, mailing, and order history.
Please upload only content you have the right to use, and avoid including information you do not want processed as part of your card. A recipient does not need a P.S. account for us to use the mailing information you provide to deliver their card.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, fulfill orders, maintain records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect P.S. The exact period depends on the type of information and why it was collected.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a unique password and contact us if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or to object to or limit certain uses. You may also withdraw marketing consent and ask about advertising-related choices.
To make a request, email ian@ps.app. We may need to verify your identity and request before acting. Authorized agents may also make requests where local law allows.
Children
P.S. is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as P.S. changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we handle information, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
